We at newsletter H.Q. have been getting complaints about having to go along and pick up yer Newsletter at yer local sorting office.

Can I just say I have checked at PO when I’m purchasing stamps and they’ve checked, double checked it, an once they’ve  triple  checked them, they checked it again!!!!!!!!!!! It is oa-fish-ally right from the PO’s mooth, that it is the correct size fur a second class stamp.

In short this should nae happen but if this persists an you are having to pay, £1.20  get in touch with Gary coz he says he’ll hand deliver it furra £1!!!!!

So this is the summer special!!!!!!!!!!!!  What’s that then??????????????

Where did I get this term from? Well when Gary wiz a lad in a NAE BEDROOMS tenement in Glesgae!! I used to get the Cor and Buster wi’ ma pocket money on a Saturday. But when it came to our Summer Holidays we always went tae Balmaha for a fortnight, and I

was always treated to the Summer Specials of the afore mentioned comics. So it’s just sumfin Gary associates wi’ the summer. Basically, in a nutshell, these days it means I take a break from writing the newsletter for a couple months, tee hee hee!!

SEE YOU ALL IN SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!

TESCO’S EXTRA EXTRA

Just to inform all of you out there that we have applied to put an information table and do a tin collection at oor local Tesco store in Galashiels. I’m not getting too excited yet, as it’s all done through their HQ and as you can imagine there is a big demand for it from other charities and organisations, but we’ll give it a go!!!!
